You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits. A set of international accounting standards stating how particular types of transactions and other events should be reported in financial statements. What are we looking for? • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Support the Financial Controller in maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards, including intercompany transactions.
- Coordinate with the Shared Service Centre to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure smooth transactional processing.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing requested information and facilitating audit processes.
- Collaborate with the Tax Department to provide necessary documentation and support for tax filings and audits for federal, state, and provincial returns.
- Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as required.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reconciliations for key accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and corporate policies.
