- Minimum 7 years in a client facing role
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or Equivalent
- Ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to Logistics materials and services
- Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint
What are we looking for? The Procurement Category Lead will have deep Logistics sourcing and supplier management experience to help customers drive tangible results. In this capacity, you will work directly with an Accenture customer/s in Europe with responsibility for delivering category management services including, but not limited to, strategic sourcing, client stakeholder management, supplier performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement. - Collaborate with external / internal clients to develop strategic category plans.
- Develop and manage sourcing pipeline, continuous improvement initiatives and ensure procurement solutions are addressing related client metrics and contracted SLAs for designated Category.
