As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. We need a senior data engineer preferably for Gurgaon or Chennai location. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet organizational goals. The position demands active involvement in setting standards that promote high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions, while fostering collaboration and innovation within the team and across departments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software delivery with business priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize software development processes and outcomes.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
• Good knowledge on SQL, SSIS, Python for ETL, GCP, Snowflake, On prem cloud and AWS etc.
• Should have exposure to do ETL in multi cloud setup.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Experience with data integration, transformation, and storage solutions.
• Ability to optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
