As a Cloud Developer II here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and technical excellence within our Cloud Development team. This individual contributor role is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect cloud solutions, and ensure they meet security and compliance standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and advancing our position at the forefront of cloud technology.
In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure, ensuring they meet business objectives and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and implementing preventative actions to avoid future issues.
Your role will also include overseeing, supervising and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end‑to‑end processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success
Responsibilities
- Ability to understand and implement the cyber security requirements for cloud
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Prototype, Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable server side code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Ability to understand Honeywell’s cloud based offering and its current service model and identify opportunities of reuse
