Your Role:
The Chemist will be a part of the Small Volume Manufacturing team in Carlsbad supporting the small-scale manufacturing process and the experimental products M4Ward™program. The Small Volume team works closely with the R&D, Marketing, Quality Control and Engineering teams. The Small Volume team works to scale up and optimize production of new chemicals transferred from R&D and assist in transitioning production to high volume scale up as needed.
- Chemical SDS review to conduct and participate in safety reviews
- Supporting chemical purification by running purification systems and providing technical input on small scale chemical purifications.
- Perform chemical sampling and packaging and providing technical input on complex container fills and chemical handling
- Vessel cleaning and break down
