In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Own a defined design project or project segment, contributing to new product development, sensor design improvement, or technology investigation efforts.
- Design and execute laboratory experiments and evaluations to characterize sensor or system performance.
- Develop test plans and propose design approaches for investigating technical questions or validating design concepts.
- Analyze experimental data and translate findings into actionable design recommendations.
- Document results through technical reports, design summaries, and presentations to project teams and leadership.
- Research and source materials, components, or equipment needed to support design objectives.
- Collaborate with engineers, chemists, technicians, manufacturing personnel, and other stakeholders across functional disciplines.
- Support test solution preparation, laboratory equipment maintenance, and test setup development.
- Maintain laboratory safety by safely handling chemicals and following established testing procedures.
- Support additional technical initiatives as business needs arise.

You look for opportunities to improve designs and processes, and you approach problems with both analytical rigor and creative thinking.
