Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing to lead the design, delivery, modernization, and operational excellence of enterprise data warehousing, reporting, analytics, and data visualization platforms. This role will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, BI developers, and data analysts supporting critical Finance and business intelligence applications.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Data Warehousing and BI platforms with proven leadership capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and mentor a team of BI developers, data engineers, ETL specialists, and support engineers.
Define and execute the roadmap for Data Warehouse, Reporting, Analytics, and Visualization platforms.
Drive modernization initiatives including cloud migration, automation, self-service analytics, and AI-enabled reporting solutions.
Partner with Finance, Product, Operations, Risk, and Technology stakeholders to prioritize and deliver strategic data initiatives.
Establish engineering best practices, governance standards, and data quality frameworks.
Data Warehousing & Engineering
Lead architecture, development, and support of enterprise-scale Data Warehouse solutions.
Design scalable data models including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Marts, and Aggregation Layers.

Experience with Cognos Framework Manager, Tableau Enterprise Deployment, and Cloud Data Warehouse modernization.
Exposure to GenAI, Predictive Analytics, and AI-driven reporting solutions.
Experience managing globally distributed teams.
