Your role and responsibilities We are seeking a Business Controller in Motion High Power’s Motors and Generators Regional Business Line IN, MEA, LATAM. You will be acting as a business partner to the Region Business Line Manager influencing strategic decisions, driving financial performance, and helping to shape the future of the Business Line. You will support decision-making by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data, evaluating business scenarios, and recommending the most suitable actions. This role is contributing to the Motion High Power’s Motors and Generators division based in Vadodara, India:
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Owning and managing the financial performance of the Regional Business Line, focusing on India (market and factory) as well as Middle-East & Africa and Latin Americas markets.
- Supporting the Region Manager in making effective business decisions by analyzing and interpreting financial data, evaluating alternative business scenarios, and recommending optimal solutions.
- Translating business strategy into business plans and monitoring of measurable targets. Promoting transparent and efficient controlling structures and financial systems.
- Leading monthly closing, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Driving cost efficiency, cash flow, productivity improvements and capital efficiency, providing insights and analysis to support operational decision-making. Ensure compliance with the company’s governance model and internal controls within the local business line.
- Leading and developing the local finance team, including competence development, tools, systems, and processes. Leading, guiding and facilitating best-practice sharing to ensure consistency of controlling practices across the organization.
