State Street Investment Management is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in Investment Risk / Market Risk, and Liquidity risk to support risk analytics and reporting initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with risk analysts, and technology teams, with a strong emphasis on data and understanding of asset management products and fund structures.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to investment / market risk and liquidity risk
Perform SQL‑based data analysis to support risk reporting, validation, and issue analysis
Work with business and technology teams to translate business requirements into functional and data specifications
Assist in defining data mappings, business rules, and validation checks
Prepare clear documentation for business and technical stakeholders
Required Experience
7–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Investment Risk / Market Risk
Experience in asset management or investment management organizations preferred
Exposure to risk analytics, portfolio analytics, or market risk reporting environments
Experience working in large, complex enterprise settings
Must‑Have Skills
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
