Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive credit analysis of IBG2 clients to assess their creditworthiness and financial standing
Interact with clients to gather relevant information and documentation required for credit assessment
Prepare detailed credit proposals and recommendations for new and existing clients. Collaborate with the Credit team to obtain timely approvals for credit facilities
Support Relationship Managers in achieving their business targets by assisting with annual supervision reviews and arranging credit approvals for new-to-bank clients or new deals
Coordinate with the Trade & Operations team and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of KYC, documentation requirements etc.
Requirements
Relevant experience in credit analysis or a similar role within the banking industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

Proficient in using financial analysis tools and software

Education / Preferred Qualifications
An MBA or CA with relevant number of years of experience in Corporate Banking

Understanding of competitor products
Comfortable with tight deadlines
Technical Competencies
Sound understanding of asset products and associated technology platforms and operational procedures
Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking policies issued by MAS/ RBI/SEBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general. Understanding of KYC requirements & Anti-money Laundering Policies are critical.
Knowledge of financial markets, products & competitor offerings to assist in meaningful dialogue with clients
Work Relationship
Close interaction with RMs / Branch Manager to ensure consistent on boarding of good quality customers and thereby assisting in delivery of Sales targets.
Close interaction with various stakeholders to ensure consistent and reliable service delivery to the customer.
