Ensuring Environment Sustainability is one of the most crucial role for any organization and specifically for Airports.
It has become one of the mandate from regulators, investors, stakeholders and community for organizations to continuously focus on delivering better performance in terms of environment sustainability.
The purpose of the job profile is to enable Nagpur Airport to become the “most sustainable Airport globally” through a strategic and action oriented approach by focus on risk identification, long term strategy and planning on sustainability matters, improve resource conservation, engage in policy advocacy with relevant stakeholders, brand building and ensure better stakeholder relationships.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Drive Sustainability/ESG Framework at NAGPUR
Develop and drive sustainability roadmap of Delhi Airport in line with global standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFC-WB) and meet stakeholder expectations.
Develop organisational strategic objectives & initiatives in line with Global Sustainability agenda (SDG 2030) and NITI Ayog requirements
Develop and implement roadmap/initiatives to achieve GNIAL’s objective of becoming the “most sustainable Airport globally”
Develop benchmarks for sustainability practices, identify best practices, carry out feasibility assessment and ensure successful implementation in GNIAL
Develop strong communication with all the relevant stakeholders for brand building through various reporting and communication mechanisms.

Strong understanding of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting tools, estimation procedures and standards- ISO14064, WRI GHG protocol etc
Strong knowledge of Green Building Standards, Green Company Framework, Airport Carbon Accreditation of Airports Council International (ACI)
