About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Associate – Risk Opinions & Oversight, the Associate – Financial Crime Risk Oversight & Opinion role forms part of the Financial Crime & Compliance Centre of Excellence (FC&C CoE) within the broader Institutional Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Centre of Excellence.
This role supports the delivery of Financial Crime and Fraud (FC&F) risk oversight across the Institutional business. You will contribute to the coordination and documentation of risk opinions across customers, products, and channels, helping ensure Financial Crime risks remain within ANZ's risk appetite. Working closely with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and risk teams, you will support risk assessments, governance reporting, data analysis, and risk insights to enable effective risk management and decision-making.

What will your day look like?
As an Associate – Financial Crime Risk Oversight & Opinion, you will:
- Support the provision and documentation of Financial Crime and Fraud risk opinions relating to high-risk customers, products, and business activities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to support the effective management of Financial Crime risks within approved risk appetite.
- Prepare risk insights, management information (MI), and reporting for Institutional risk forums, governance committees, and key stakeholders.
