Associate - Category Management

As an Associate in Category Management with 1.0-3.0 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing category performance and driving strategic decisions that contribute to the overall success of the business. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks aimed at managing the product categories effectively to meet consumer demands and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze market trends and consumer behavior, and use insights to develop category strategies.
• Implement pricing and promotional strategies to maximize category profitability and sales performance.
• Monitor category performance metrics and KPIs, and implement corrective actions as necessary to drive growth and efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sourcing, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment and execution of category plans.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for product assortment expansion or optimization within the category.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, manage relationships, and ensure product availability.
• Conduct regular competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and benchmark the category performance against competitors.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
