AS/400 Technical Lead

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to facilitate application solutions by developing and reviewing module-level codes, creating replication patterns, performing root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable, well-documented deliverables that meet business objectives.

AS/400 Technical Lead and Senior Developer Band-B2 and B3 Experience -5 to 12 Years Loation-Hyderabad Over 5 to 12 years of experience in development and support with core AS/400 technologies, including DB2/400, CL, RPG III/RPG IV/Free Form. Extensive expertise in SQL/400, QUERY/400, and other AS/400 utilities. Strong knowledge of data extraction based on defined specifications, along with experience in EDI tools and processes Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains Strong understanding of database technologies such as DDS physical and logical files, SQL files, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries. Proficient in advanced ILE concepts, including procedures, service programs, and functions. Exposure to AS/400 modernization engagements Thorough understanding of application and database performance best practices and tuning techniques. Extensive experience in preparing design and estimation documents required for development changes proposed by business users. Engage with business stakeholders to resolve queries and prepare technical specification documents. Design and develop applications according to specifications, utilizing the provided technical specification document
