At Quest Global, it’s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different. With over 25 years as an engineering services provider, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible. Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place—to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future. We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.
Key Responsibilities
Data Preparation & Quality: Extract, clean, validate, and visualize structured and unstructured data from multiple platforms using Python, SQL, and related analytics tools; identify outliers and improve data reliability.
Exploratory Analysis & Problem Solving: Apply statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand problem statements quickly, uncover patterns, and define meaningful business and cost metrics.
AI/ML Model Development: Design, build, test, and optimize machine learning models—including regression models, neural networks, and other predictive approaches—to estimate product part costs and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Software Engineering: Develop scalable, efficient, and reliable AI-powered applications in Python; write clean, maintainable code; participate in code reviews; debug issues; and continuously improve system performance.
Should-Costing & Cost Engineering: Support should-costing and design-to-cost analysis for both new product introduction (NPI) and legacy products, including buy-to-sell products and mechanical commodities such as machining, stamping, plastics, and casting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Product Sourcing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams during NPI, RFI, and RFQ phases to establish cost targets, influence negotiations, and identify cost reduction and cost avoidance opportunities.
