What's in it for you:

The AI/Automation Technical Leader – AI and Agentic Solutions is a hands-on delivery leader role responsible for designing, building, deploying, and scaling AI- and automation-enabled solutions within Trane Technologies. This role turns business and employee needs into working AI and Automation solutions by designing and delivering agents, backend services, APIs, integrations, orchestration logic, and reusable technical components

This role requires strong software engineering, solution architecture, automation, and applied AI expertise, along with the ability to partner closely with stakeholders to turn business opportunities into production-ready solutions. The individual in this role will help move AI capabilities from concept to production while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable, and reusable components that support enterprise adoption.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical practitioner who works on building working software, applying emerging AI technologies to practical enterprise use cases, and helping shape the engineering practices needed to deliver AI solutions safely and effectively at scale. The candidate works effectively with business and functional teams to shape use cases, develop prototypes. This role will use coding assistants and agentic coding practices as part of the delivery process while maintaining quality, security, reliability, and control.

Success in this role will come from delivering production-ready AI solutions that provide real business value while improving the speed, quality, and repeatability of future AI delivery, and the advancement of the organization’s AI and automation capabilities
