Commodity Management within Materials and Procurement develops and implements plans to support forecasted needs for suppliers or commodities. We use our in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets to negotiate supplier agreements and contracts with optimum pricing and terms. We also harness our understanding of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management and supply chain evaluation models to develop optimal commodity management strategies.

As an Advisor, you will support sourcing operations, documentation, and reporting to ensure timely delivery. You will maintain records and help teams meet standards while surfacing insights to improve workflows and outcomes.

You will:
Support RFx execution, bid analysis, and status updates
Maintain records in systems; ensure audit-ready documentation
Prepare weekly/monthly reports and partner communications
Manage supplier terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with procurement and contractual requirements
Oversee software manager solutions delivered to clients, coordinating implementation and stakeholder alignment
Support contract enablement activities, including contract activation, documentation, and process coordination

5+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, sourcing, or a related professional role
Knowledge of software solutions and the ability to work effectively with technical stakeholders
Strong understanding of sourcing workflows, commercial terms, contracts, and supplier management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills
Ability to navigate complex situations, manage ambiguity, and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment
Strong learning agility, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Experience with eSourcing, CLM, or other contract management tools
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $85,850 to $111,100
