Join Cytiva’s Sustaining Engineering team and contribute to advancing future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. As a Mechatronics Engineering Co-op, you will support R&D and product development initiatives, focusing on design documentation, work instructions, and implementing changes into production.
What you'll do:
- Design, test, and introduce jigs and fixtures to streamline and enhance production processes for Cytiva Nanomedicine instruments.
- Assist systems engineers on the team to perform root cause analysis to test and implement design changes addressing internal and field-related instrument issues.
- Assist manufacturing to investigate and resolve production line issues.
- Ensure all product changes maintain or improve compliance, performance, and reliability.
- Assist operations in identifying and validating alternative sources for production parts to ensure continuity of supply.
Who you are:
- Currently enrolled in Mechatronics, Nanotechnology Engineering, Engineering Physics, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a similar multidisciplinary program.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and circuit design.
- Experience in designing, fabricating, and testing prototype instruments.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
