Job Description:
The TD Wealth Governance & Control team is responsible for managing the enterprise regulatory compliance and operational risk program across the TD Wealth segment. The team enables multiple Wealth business units through the timely and consistent implementation of control and governance programs, initiatives, policies and standards.

Risk Marketplace (RMP) as defined in the NEW operating model will enable the development of highly skilled subject matter experts knowledgeable across the major risk categories defined in the Enterprise Risk Framework. Risk Marketplace (RMP) is a strategic asset that strengthens TD's risk-taking capability, enabling delivery excellence and early value realization while keeping the bank safe. RMP works directly with Journey and Global Technology and Solutions teams (and in some cases non-NEW teams) to provide real-time risk mitigation and guidance. RMP 1Bs are at the core of the interaction model between the first line and the second line of defense.
Job Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will provide Change Oversight Governance guidance to TD Wealth Direct Investing and TD Wealth North American Customer Operations (NACO) (Journey and non-NEW/TD Scaled Agility projects). They will report to the RMP 1B Lead. They will also be responsible for key accountabilities as outlined below:

- Build a collaborative culture of risk awareness and ownership, in support of the Enterprise Risk Framework
- Monitor and drive consistency around risk identification and mitigation
- Support risk identification, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting across change activities, processes, and initiatives
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial business knowledge and provides broad risk knowledge across multiple risk domains (e.g. Compliance, Privacy, Operational Risk Management, etc.)
- Trusted partner for change; builds and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and open to ongoing support feedback
- Serves as the primary conduit for the 1st line of defense to the 2nd line of defense
- For Features, ensure alignment with the Risk Marketplace Playbook within NEW Journeys/Platforms and Journeys/Platforms operating manual
- For Features, participate in Journey/Global Technology & Solutions (GTS) activities in alignment with the Risk Marketplace Playbook and Journeys/GTS operating manual
- Ensure risk issues are identified, managed, and reported per enterprise policy/guidelines and ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed
- Distill and report on risks that merit attention from 2A Risk & Control Partner Function Leads
- Coordinate removal of blockers with Risk Marketplace Team and stakeholders
- Supports 1A to complete Change Risk Assessment (CRA), and design and implement effective internal controls/mitigations
- Coordinate and facilitate required sign-offs for the Change Risk Assessment (CRA) as outlined in the Change Governance Standard and/or other artifacts, as required
- Supports 1A with completion of Privacy Impact Assessment, and acts as Privacy Designate
- Bring or open to build a strong understanding of regulatory, risk and governance landscape pertinent to TD Advice, Operations, Direct Investing, and/or Contact Center – Investing.

- 7+ years of relevant business and/or risk and control experience
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Ability to question and challenge status quo
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow up on items or determine appropriate steps for timely escalation and/or resolution
- Ability to deal with conflicting points of view and to effect creative and responsive solutions
- Comfortable navigating a space that is not well defined, ambiguous and complex at times.
- Strong written and verbal communicator with an ability to clearly and concisely articulate the business issue, supporting facts, and rationale/business value for recommended solutions.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Advanced industry and business knowledge and expertise on risk and control functions
- Proficiency with collaboration and/or project management tools MS Office, SharePoint and JIRA
- Agile project experience is considered an asset
- The workplace model is 4 days in the office
