What You'll Do
Drive Territory Growth & Business Development
Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales of Flygt mixing solutions across your assigned territory.
Identify and capture new business opportunities within municipal, industrial, and process markets.
Expand market share by building and strengthening relationships with channel partners, distributors, representatives, and system integrators.
Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline that delivers consistent revenue growth.
Build Trusted Customer Relationships

Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering firms, municipalities, industrial end users, and contractors.
Conduct customer visits, site evaluations, and technical presentations to identify customer needs and propose effective solutions.
Guide customers through the entire sales process—from application assessment and specification development to proposal, negotiation, and close.
Deliver value-based solutions that help customers improve operational performance and efficiency.
Leverage Technical Expertise
Apply your knowledge of mixing equipment and applications to support customers and recommend optimal solutions.
Collaborate closely with Flygt Mixing Solutions specialists on complex applications and equipment selection.
Support commissioning activities, troubleshooting efforts, and post-installation follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide valuable market and customer feedback to engineering, product management, and leadership teams.
Influence Market Strategy
Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging customer needs.
Identify growth opportunities and strategic initiatives within your territory.
Represent Flygt at industry events, trade shows, lunch-and-learns, and customer training sessions.
What Makes You Successful
We're looking for a results-oriented sales professional who combines technical aptitude with strong relationship-building skills. You enjoy solving customer challenges, developing new business opportunities, and working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent technical sales experience.
3–5+ years of successful sales experience within industrial, municipal, process equipment, or related markets.
Knowledge of mixers, mixing technologies, and mixing applications.
Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and close business opportunities.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Highly organized with strong territory planning and time management skills.
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fluid handling, process systems, or related equipment.
Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment applications.
Experience working with engineering consultants, municipalities, contractors, and industrial end users.
Experience selling technical or engineered solutions through channel partners.

Travel Requirements
Travel up to 75% within the assigned territory for customer meetings, site visits, partner support, industry events, and trade shows.
Frequent overnight travel is expected based on territory size and business needs.
Flexible remote work arrangement when not traveling, allowing for effective territory planning, customer engagement, and administrative responsibilities from a home office.

The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 plus quaterly comissions. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
