Department Overview:

Business Program & Delivery team within Office of the Deputy U.S. Treasury oversees key business programs and routines which supports a broad range of activities for US Treasury. Our mandate is to provide centralized program management oversight of business operations, management, and governance routines to position US Treasury to operate effectively while prioritizing consistency in approach and transparency for Senior Management. This is accomplished by leading and supporting self-funded initiatives that provide intrinsic value to the needs of the organization and providing single point of contact for coordination, tracking and management of certain administrative activities impacting US Treasury, seeking to reduce the burden for our business partners, allowing them to focus on the day-to-day business operations.

Our team focus is to (i) support and manage implementation of business initiatives that drive quick wins, efficient process improvements, and strategic uplift across US Treasury, (ii) act as liaison for activities impacting teams across US Treasury by supporting and coordinating administrative and operational activities, and (iii) provide the US Treasurer, US Deputy Treasurer and the US Treasury Leadership team transparency on business program activities as well as an integrated and aggregated approach for these programs and business routines (e.g., change management activities, etc.).

The Sr Business Mgmt Specialist leads a significant business management function and/or strategy planning, oversight, control or governance activities for highly complex / high risk / transformational (change the bank) / strategic initiatives, liaises across the organization and primarily interfaces with executive and/or functional stakeholders.
