We are seeking a talented Software Development Manager to join our S3 organization to build and support a new storage paradigm for AWS. You will contribute towards our rapidly increasing scale as we develop new services and integrate with other S3 and AWS teams. Key job responsibilities Leading and owning a flexible web service requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience leading large-scale distributed systems. A day in the life A Software Development Manager in this role is responsible for leading the architectural vision, upholding best practices and quality standards, hiring and developing talent, and establishing a strong customer-focused vision for the team. You will work daily with Senior and Principal Engineers, Senior leadership across S3 and our partners in other AWS organizations to prioritize the right solutions for the long-term success of S3 and AWS storage health. You will mentor and coach engineers, help develop and deliver multi-year roadmaps focused on the technical and customer solutions necessary to support our ongoing customer growth and platform diversity.
