The Fuse tech team is an innovative and high-energy team working on Amazon Fuse, a wholesale subscription service that enables 3rd-party enterprises to offer subscription services through their existing billing and distribution channels. Fuse has created a one-stop integration point for service teams (e.g., Prime, Music, Video, Kindle, Audible, and more) to offer their subscription services through top global partners who collectively provide subscriber billing services to more than 4B consumers. Additionally, to deepen these relationships, Fuse enables strategic partners to integrate into Amazon ecosystems via product listing, advertising, and payment solutions. While we use existing Amazon systems when possible, you'll be working on challenging problems that need innovative solutions.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with internal partner teams (Prime, Music, Prime Video, Subscriptions, Retail Stores, etc.) as well as external partners, facilitating business innovations while maintaining a high technical standard of the core system.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and scaling, with a strong commitment to operational excellence and engineering rigor. The right candidate will champion data-driven decision making, prioritize customer trust, and actively work to automate repetitive processes while supporting partners and end customers on a global scale. This leader won't shy away from getting their hands dirty — leveraging GenAI to accelerate decision-making, navigating ambiguous situations without complete information, taking calculated risks, and leading by example.

Key job responsibilities Service & Technical Oversight

• Manage ownership of multiple critical platform level services integrated with Amazon Commerce system
• Own the external facing systems for custom integration with partners
• Oversee service architecture, scalability, and technical direction across the service portfolio

Team Management

• Lead a 2-pizza team with diverse technical backgrounds
• Mentor and develop junior team members to grow their technical and leadership capabilities
