The Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) Team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager, Implementation for the North American Region to lead a team of 6-9 Physical Security Program Managers, responsible for launching security technology installations across new Amazon warehouse and retail construction projects.
The Sr PM, Implementation supervises the compliance of physical security standards for Amazon construction projects. This person also serves on cross-functional teams and is considered the Subject Matter Expert in all facets of physical security infrastructure design and maintenance.
This position is a key contributor to new projects, initiatives and launches. The Sr PM, Implementation coordinates planning, designing and commissioning of security installations throughout North America. This includes partnering with approved security design firms to create the project plan, finalize system designs and help select the best security vendor to complete the project.
Knowledge and application of Amazon WWOS standards and policies are key to success. While projects are managed at the ground level by other Amazon resources, this position is responsible for establishing benchmarks and ensuring field teams remain on track for completion of security system installation projects per prescribed timelines. This leader promotes a culture where a diverse mix of talented people will work together to be customer obsessed, earn trust and establish a collaborative environment to meet team goals.
Key job responsibilities
Hire, onboard, educate, coach, and develop 6-9 remote-based Physical Security Program Managers across the AMER Region.
Own the success of all Physical Security technology launches across the assigned area of responsibility, partnering with business stakeholders to remove barriers and enable team delivery.
Anticipate gaps and opportunities before they impact business initiatives, aligning teams to deliver for customers through scalable mechanisms.
Foster and maintain critical partnerships with Construction Management, Loss Prevention, and Operations teams, providing professional expertise in Amazon Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) policies, security design principles, and project scope requirements.
Influence change, drive innovation, and course-correct current state by leveraging cross-functional partnerships and deep understanding of business needs.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in organizational workflow processes, including establishing project charters, determining key deliverables, and championing team-based initiatives.

Basic qualifications
5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
5+ years of team management experience
5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience managing teams of 3 or more
Experience delivering cross functional projects
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
Preferred qualifications
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience in cost/benefit analysis of project proposals
Bachelor's degree
PMP certificate
Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
