Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior GPU Design Verification Engineer – GCDV, you will contribute to the verification of top-level graphic core for Samsung’s next-generation mobile GPU.
In this mid-to-senior individual contributor role, you will contribute to the verification strategy and hands-on validation for cutting-edge GPU designs, ensuring functional correctness, performance integrity, and architectural intent. You bring curiosity and knowledge in GPU design verification, broad architectural understanding across the graphics pipeline, and a collaborative mindset to help planning and executing for concurrent development cycles.
- You contribute to graphic core–level verification strategy and execution by developing comprehensive verification plans, defining goals, coverage metrics, and sign-off criteria aligned with architectural specifications and product requirements.
- You enjoy learning about architecting and implementing advanced verification environments. You help develop and maintain scalable verification testbenches using SystemVerilog and C++, developing test code in parallel with RTL, and applying constrained-random testing, coverage-driven verification, and assertion-based techniques to validate complex graphics and compute behavior.
- You ensure functional and performance excellence at top level for all graphic blocks by advancing verification methodologies, tools, and automation to improve efficiency and quality, maintain technical documents, and create sophisticated test scenarios that stress full graphics pipelines (including command processing, front-end, shader cores, rasterization, and fixed-function units), covering corner cases, performance-sensitive paths, and real-world workloads.
- You help analyzing complex debug and issue resolution spanning multiple GPU domains by identifying root causes and seek proactive collaboration to ensure verification aligns with architectural intent and evolving software usage models.
- You take initiatives on moderate-to-complex projects and help advance best practices, methodologies by staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
