Xylem is seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the Salt Lake City Utah service center. In this role, you’ll help support the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and rebuilding of Godwin diesel pump systems while working alongside a skilled service team.

What Your Day Will Look Like as a Senior Diesel Mechanic

As a Senior Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play an important role in supporting our Sanford Service Center, where pumps are returned for evaluation, maintenance, repair, and rebuild work. This position is primarily shop-based and focuses on troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines used in our pump systems.

While equipment-specific training will be provided, candidates with strong diesel engine experience — particularly with Caterpillar and John Deere engines — will transition especially well into the role.

This position typically follows a Monday–Friday day shift schedule, with occasional weekend support based on business needs.

Senior Diesel Mechanics are expected to provide their own specialty tools.
