The Role:
Our Colorado Springs facility is seeking a Quality Control Lead to support and guide daily operations within the Quality Inspector team. In this role, you will apply advanced quality expertise to ensure timely and accurate measurement of production parts, oversee the generation and verification of Certificates of Analysis (CofAs), and manage the disposition of discrepant material in alignment with quality system requirements. The Quality Control Lead plays a key part in maintaining adherence to established methods and procedures, supporting continuous improvement, and providing direction on complex inspection or product quality issues
What You’ll Do:
Lead daily shift pass-downs and ensure smooth transitions between shifts Assign and prioritize tasks for the Quality Inspector team Train and certify Quality Inspectors (Levels 1–4) Generate and verify Certificates of Analysis (CofAs) for customer shipments Review and verify First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Disposition product placed on quality hold Troubleshoot QA equipment and measurement tools Identify and eliminate waste in quality processes Escalate and resolve quality issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams Attend production meetings and represent the Quality team Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols Support a culture of recognition through the Spotlight program Consistently demonstrate Entegris’ PACE values: People, Accountability, Creativity, Excellence Perform other duties as assigned to support business goals
What We Seek:
High school diploma or GED required 3–5 years of experience in Quality, inspection, or related technical roles Ability to read, interpret, and apply documented processes, procedures, drawings, and specifications Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards to ensure inspection consistency and compliance with established methods. Proficiency with measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and experience with CMM or other advanced metrology equipment, demonstrating capability Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders up to 15 ft, and perform repetitive motions (pinching, grasping, twisting, bending, reaching) as needed in daily operations Strong commitment to safety and quality standards Proven leadership and team management skills Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to work in manufacturing environments requires PPE such as safety glasses and steel toe shoes Can walk, bend, and reach to review documentation or move between areas Ability to handle and move light materials or samples (typically up to 20 pounds) as part of inspection or documentation activities Visual acuity to review data, read documentation, and observe quality indicators on screens or printed materials
