Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
About the role
The GTM Automation Engineer builds the automations, custom internal applications, and AI-native workflows that power our Go-To-Market operations. This role is not about traditional SaaS administration; it is about acting as a 10x builder who leverages AI coding assistants and LLMs to solve process bottlenecks.
When native tool interfaces (like Marketo or Salesforce) slow our teams down, you rapidly build and deploy custom web apps that streamline the user experience. You will partner with commercial stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to uncover improvement opportunities, radically reduce manual work, and enhance the entire commercial lifecycle through continuous innovation.
What are your responsibilities?
Custom Web Apps & Internal Tooling: Rapidly prototype and build lightweight, custom web applications to bypass clunky native SaaS UIs and accelerate team execution.
AI & Systems Integration: Develop deep integrations between GTM tools, internal systems, and LLM APIs using webhooks, APIs, and modern automation platforms.
Automation Development: Build, deploy, and maintain robust automated workflows that eliminate manual effort across the organization.
Tool Innovation over Maintenance: Own selected GTM tools end-to-end. Focus on automating away routine maintenance and configuration so you can dedicate the majority of your time to driving the technical roadmap and introducing AI-driven innovations.

Data Quality and Reliability: Monitor and improve data consistency across systems. Identify issues early and implement sustainable, automated fixes.
Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex issues related to integrations, workflows, and custom apps, providing stable, long-term technical solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Support, and other teams to translate their daily friction points into custom technical improvements.
Who are you?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field.
AI-Assisted Development: Proven ability to use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to rapidly develop, debug, and deploy functional web applications.
Programming Skills: Foundational understanding of Python (and ideally basic web technologies like HTML/JS). You don't need to write complex full-stack applications from scratch, but you must be able to read code, understand logic, and effectively steer and debug agentic coding tools to build them.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a technical operations, revenue operations, automation engineering, or software engineering role with a heavy focus on internal tooling.
Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, LLM APIs, and integration platforms such as n8n, Workato, Zapier or similar.
GTM Systems: Familiarity with the data models and APIs of GTM tools such as Salesforce, Clay, Marketo, Calendly, Aircall, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DocuSign, or equivalent platforms.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a bias toward building solutions rather than settling for workarounds.
Communication: Clear and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage multiple product-building initiatives, and deliver solutions in a fast-moving environment.
