A Day in the Life

In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for Medtronic’s enterprise Building Automation System (BAS), helping ensure our facilities operate efficiently, reliably, and sustainably. You will provide expert oversight across the full BAS lifecycle, including engineering, design, installation, service, upgrades, and system optimization.

You will play a key role in driving major BAS initiatives by leading project milestones, supporting enterprise-wide standardization, and delivering technical solutions that enhance HVAC and electrical system performance. This role also focuses on maintaining and improving existing BAS infrastructure while advancing continuous improvements in system components, processes, and procedures.

Working cross-functionally, you will collaborate with facility teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot complex building system issues, improve operational efficiency, and support the performance of Medtronic’s global facilities. This is an opportunity to apply deep technical expertise while influencing the evolution of BAS standards and capabilities across the enterprise.

Travel: up to 25%, depending on primary location and business needs
