The Analyst role on Northern Trust's Global Financial Control team is responsible for CCAR Testing and Governance. With support from the larger Global Financial Control's team, the Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to lead governance, documentation, and testing procedures related to the Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR) program for Northern Trust Corporation.
Major Duties:
- Evaluate risk and likely sources of potential misstatement for significant processes.
- Maintain relationships with control owners to provide guidance and training regarding CCAR program and requirements.
- Communicate with partners at all levels, developing and presenting recommendations on operations and controls for the business unit.
- Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact. Able to facilitate discussions independently and reach decisions.
- Utilizes understanding of various Corporate units to ensure operations, services and systems have proper controls in place.
- Develops a thorough understanding of the Northern Trust Methodology and adheres to all applicable Department Standards.
- Responsible for staying current on SOX/SOC/CCAR regulation and changes in the industry.
