All about the role:
We are seeking highly skilled Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking Expert to join our dynamic People Technologies team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing system processes across the Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, and US/Canada Payroll modules.
You will collaborate with People (HR) Process teams, HR Operations on both global and regional levels, and other key stakeholders to ensure optimal system functionality and user experience. Additionally, you will work closely with the People Tech Product Owner for Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, as well as other Product Owners in People Tech who manage different modules of Workday (HCM Core, Recruitment, Reporting, Compensation, Integrations). Your responsibilities will include collecting requirements with the Product Owner, designing and proposing solutions, building prototypes, conducting technical tests, and deploying to production.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate closely with the People Tech Product Owner for Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, as well as other Product Owners managing different Workday modules (HCM Core, Recruitment, Reporting, Compensation, Integrations).
- Act as the main point of contact for the Product Owner, People Services & Solutions, and local Payroll Teams, providing ongoing support, advice, and consultation on system capabilities and configuration
- Understand stakeholder needs, collect requirements with the Product Owner and translate them into functional solutions
- Design and propose solutions, build prototypes, conduct technical tests, and deploy to production.
