ZSM -LAP is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategy, management, and growth of mortgage sales within a designated zone or region. This individual will be tasked with driving sales performance, expanding market share, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role involves leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales professionals, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the bank's overall lending objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed mortgage sales targets and profitability goals for the assigned zone.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with builders, realtors, and other referral sources.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Drive sales across the region and ensure a healthy profitability
Team Leadership and Management
Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of RSM’s/ASM’s.
Set clear sales goals and objectives for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance the skills and productivity of the sales team.
Ensure the sales team adheres to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the end-to-end mortgage origination process within the zone, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with operations, underwriting, and risk teams to streamline processes and address any issues.
Monitor and manage the quality of the loan portfolio and address delinquent accounts.
Customer Experience
Ensure the sales team provides a high level of customer service, focusing on building lasting relationships.
Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally.
Assist in training and development of loan originators to function in all aspects of loan originations and selling techniques.
Required Qualifications
Education
MBA or equivalent
Experience -Minimum of 10+ years of experience in mortgage sales, lending, or financial services with at least 3-5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within the mortgage industry, with a history of successfully managing a team .
Proven success in building production, profit, and identifying market opportunities.
Prior experience in a regional or senior sales leadership role is strongly preferred.
