Role Description The Mortgage Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. The specialist will manage end-to-end mortgage processing activities, including document collection, verification, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders such as lenders, brokers, and customers. Responsibilities include reviewing applications for accuracy and completeness, tracking file progress, maintaining records in internal systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines. The role also involves monitoring timelines, resolving operational issues, supporting sales teams with status updates, and preparing regular reports and dashboards on pipeline, approvals, and disbursements. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational workflows, enhance borrower experience, and support process automation initiatives. Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to review mortgage documents, assess risks, identify discrepancies, and interpret data and reports.
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with customers, lenders, internal teams, and other stakeholders clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in Sales support to assist front-line teams with application follow-ups, cross-functional coordination, and pipeline updates.
- Operations Management experience to handle loan processing workflows, documentation control, and compliance with policies and timelines.
- Project Management abilities to manage multiple files, prioritize tasks, track milestones, and contribute to process improvement projects.
- Familiarity with mortgage products, lending practices, and basic financial concepts; prior experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
- Comfort using digital tools, CRM or loan management systems, and standard office software (spreadsheets, presentations, and reporting tools).
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- High attention to detail, integrity in handling sensitive financial information, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
