Selected Intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Own the product design of the Vedapath app end-to-end, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI and interaction design (iOS and Android).
Design how users experience our comics and microdramas. Shape the visual storytelling of the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas across languages and formats.
Build and improve internal production workflows. Design the tools and interfaces our content team uses to create comics in 30 languages and microdramas at scale. Your designs become the production system.
Ship to real users and iterate fast. Your work goes live. You will see real analytics, hear real feedback, and improve rapidly. No hypothetical projects here.
Collaborate directly with the founding team. No layers, no middle managers. You will present your work, defend your choices, and shape product direction from day one.
Work at the frontier of AI and design. We use state-of-the-art Generative AI to bring ancient stories to life through visuals. You will work with tools and creative possibilities that most design teams never get to touch.
Note: This is a 3-month internship, extendable up to 6-12 months based on performance and mutual fit. High performers get a path to a longer engagement or full-time role.

Strong portfolio showing UI/UX work with clear design thinking (personal projects, freelance, or college work all count)
Bias for action: we value people who ship fast over people who plan forever. Show us things you have actually completed and put out into the world.
Taste and attention to detail: you should be able to look at a screen and spot what feels off before anyone tells you.
Bonus: spikes in illustration, comic art, motion design, video editing, AI tools (Midjourney, etc.), or any creative skill beyond core UI/UX.
Curiosity about Indian mythology, philosophy, or culture is a strong plus. You don't need to be a scholar, but genuine interest matters.

Vedapath is building the most complete platform for ancient Indian wisdom. Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, all 4 Vedas, 18 Puranas, Upanishads, and 20+ more sacred texts, all with Sanskrit, transliteration, and translations in 30 languages.
But we don't just digitise scriptures. We bring them alive through AI-powered conversations, comics in 30 languages, and microdramas, making stories that are thousands of years old feel immediate and personal.
We are a small team of IITians using state-of-the-art Generative AI to make these stories accessible to everyone. Our interns don't do busywork. They build the core product. Our previous design interns owned the full app UI/UX, built our comic production workflow, and designed our microdrama pipeline from scratch. Every one of them became the top 1% at what they did.
