We are seeking a creative and detail-obsessed UI/UX design intern with a passion for crafting interactive experiences, micro-interactions, and high-impact animations. At Fission, we don't just design static screens- we design movement, fluidity, and emotional connection through animation. This internship is perfect for someone eager to learn advanced interaction techniques, work alongside experienced designers, and build portfolio-worthy motion experiences that go beyond the basics.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Design high-fidelity user interfaces with smooth transitions, animations, and effects
Create micro-interactions that enhance usability and delight the user
Collaborate with UI/UX, product, and frontend teams to bring motion concepts to life
Translate brand identity into consistent visual storytelling using motion
Assist in building interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, After Effects, or Lottie
Learn and experiment with UI animation libraries and motion design frameworks
Take part in design reviews, user flow discussions, and iterative feedback sessions

Other requirements
Passion for UI/UX design and motion graphics
Basic proficiency in Figma, Adobe After Effects, Lottie, or similar tools
Strong sense of timing, visual rhythm, and interaction flow
Eagerness to push boundaries and experiment with dynamic UI
Good communication and a collaborative mindset
Experience with Framer, GSAP, or Rive
Understanding of HTML/CSS animations or frontend libraries
Exposure to UI kits, animation plugins, and component-based design systems
A portfolio showcasing interactive/motion design work (student projects are welcome)
Students or recent graduates in design, HCI, visual communication, or related fields
Must be available for a full-time in-office internship for 3 months
Should have a strong interest in interactive and motion-driven UI/UX
