This is a two-year full-time Fellowship opportunity where you will manage an after-school education program for a city in need. As a U&I Fellow, you will lead a chapter and be responsible for building and nurturing a community of volunteers who educate and mentor children from underserved communities.
You will recruit, train, coach, and support volunteers while ensuring the successful delivery of educational programs. The role provides hands-on exposure to leadership, project management, stakeholder management, community building, fundraising, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
A. Volunteer Recruitment & Community Building
Design and execute volunteer recruitment campaigns throughout the year.
Build and sustain a strong and engaged volunteer community.
Foster leadership, ownership, and accountability among volunteers.
B. Program Management
Ensure the smooth execution of educational programs and learning sessions.
Monitor program quality and implement continuous improvements.
Track program outcomes and measure impact effectively.
C. Training & Coaching
Organize volunteer training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to volunteers and team leaders.
Create engaging and impactful learning experiences for stakeholders.
D. Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, corporate partners, educational institutions, and community stakeholders.
