- Lead Test Environment Strategy & Governance: Define, implement, and maintain a comprehensive TEM/TEMS strategy aligned with organizational QA and release objectives for complex applications and systems.
- Design & Implement TEMS Approach: Own the design and end-to-end implementation of the TEMS approach using appropriate tools and frameworks, ensuring traceability, repeatability, and scalability of environments.
- Environment Provisioning & Configuration: Oversee provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of test environments (integration, system, UAT, performance) to ensure they are stable, consistent, and fit for purpose.
- Environment Scheduling & Conflict Management: Manage environment bookings, usage calendars, and conflict resolution between multiple projects and test streams, optimizing utilization and minimizing downtime.
- Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and release management teams to align environment needs, dependencies, and release timelines.
- Environment Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Establish monitoring mechanisms for environment health; lead root-cause analysis and resolution of environment-related defects, outages, and data issues.
- Test Data & Configuration Management: Work with stakeholders to define and manage test data strategies, environment configuration baselines, and refresh cycles to support various testing phases.
