Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Dealer Management:- Drive channel partner engagement programs. Farmer Engagement & Demonstrations: Conduct farmer meetings, field days, crop seminars, and village-level campaigns.
Key KPIs
Takneek Plot Farmer, Associated Farmer Promotion of Agri Input, Tractor & FM Lead Generation & help in conversion of deal Impact on farmer Income and Cost of Cultivation. Territory revenue growth. Market share growth of Core business Number of farmer meetings and demonstrations conducted. New customer acquisition. Product penetration in key crops.
Experience
4–8 years of sales experience in: Seeds/Crop Protection Chemicals/Fertilizers/Biologicals/Farm Machinery/Agricultural Inputs/Agritech Solutions Proven experience in territory sales management and channel Management.
Industry Preferred
Seeds/Crop Protection Chemicals/Fertilizers/Biologicals/Farm Machinery/Agricultural Inputs/Agritech Solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture) – Mandatory. Master's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Marketing, or related field – Preferred.
General Requirements
Technical Skills: Agronomy knowledge, Dealer Engagement Negotiation: Business development, Key account management, Relationship management,Presentation skills
Behavioral Competencies: Result-oriented mindset, Strong communication skills, Problem-solving skills, Customer-centric approach, Team collaboration
Extensive field travel within assigned territory (70–80% field-based role). Frequent interaction with farmers, dealers, distributors, and agricultural institutions. Participation in seasonal campaigns, field demonstrations, and agricultural events.
