As a Quality Engineering Lead in the telecom domain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that complex billing and telecom solutions perform with accuracy, reliability, and scale. You will lead testing initiatives across multiple projects, guiding teams to design and execute robust test strategies that safeguard critical customer and revenue-impacting journeys. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams—product owners, architects, developers, and operations—to build a culture of quality from the ground up. You will leverage your telecom billing expertise, API knowledge, and automation mindset to drive continuous improvement in test coverage and efficiency. Lead end-to-end test strategy and planning for telecom and billing systems, covering functional, integration, regression, and UAT. Analyze billing domains (rating, charging, invoicing, mediation, customer lifecycle) to design effective test scenarios and data aligned with business rules. Manage API and backend testing, validating data integrity and end-to-end flows across dependent systems. Promote automation-first testing by identifying high‑value regression areas and partnering with automation teams to build scalable test suites. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements, mitigate risks, resolve defects, and ensure release readiness. Define and track quality metrics (defect density, coverage, escape defects, execution progress) with clear stakeholder reporting.
