Ericsson is a global leader in 5G innovation, driving next-generation mobile networks and shaping the evolution toward 6G. With decades of wireless expertise, Ericsson delivers cutting-edge connectivity solutions worldwide.
The Opportunity
Join Ericsson's 5G New Radio (NR) organization and lead system-level architecture for the L2 Scheduler subsystem, the core intelligence of the gNB. You will define architectural direction, ensure platform parity across Cloud RAN (GPP) and purpose-built systems, and drive technical governance across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own system architecture for the L2 Scheduler, ensuring scalability, performance, and cross-platform consistency.
Define and govern interfaces, design principles, and architecture across L1, L2, OAM, and deployment domains.
Translate 3GPP NR standards and product requirements into system requirements, design constraints, and interface specifications.
Lead cross-functional teams across Bangalore, Ottawa, and Sweden to align architecture, resolve integration issues, and drive technical decisions.
Drive system performance analysis and optimization for throughput, latency, and capacity KPIs.
Own Solution Packages (SPs), ensuring design readiness, verification completeness, and deployment confidence.
Define integration and verification strategies, acceptance criteria, and system-level test approaches.
Mentor system engineers and promote system-level thinking, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
