About the internship
We, at Aleido India, are looking for Trainee Technical Writers to join our documentation team in Bengaluru. This role is designed for early-career professionals with excellent English skills who are beginning their journey in technical documentation and are keen to learn structured authoring, domain concepts, and professional ways of working. As a Trainee Technical Writer, you will work with well-structured and clearly explained source inputs and will be guided by senior writers and mentors. You will contribute to simpler documentation units independently and support senior technical writers in developing complex deliverables. Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days WFH) Locations:
- Bengaluru (Mahadevapura, Outer Ring Road)
Job DescriptionAs a Trainee Technical Writer, your responsibilities will include:
- Working with low-complexity, well-structured source material to develop clear and accurate documentation
- Creating small documentation units such as trouble reports, editorials, or basic procedural content
- Supporting senior writers in developing more complex documentation units
- Following defined documentation instructions, templates, tools, and style guidelines closely
- Participating in review cycles and incorporating feedback to improve content quality
- Learning documentation processes, tools, and structured authoring practices through hands-on work
- Communicating clearly with team members to seek clarification and confirm understanding
- Managing assigned tasks with supervision while meeting agreed quality and delivery timelines
Who are you?We believe that you have following experience and skills: Required Experience
- 01 year of experience in technical writing, content development, or a related field (including internships or academic projects)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently
- Telecom or IT domain knowledge
Soft Skills
- Comfortable working with mentoring and regular guidance
- Willingness to accept feedback and learn through revision cycles
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Reliable, organised, and attentive to detail
- Demonstrates discipline in following processes and standards
