The Project Lead is responsible for leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering software, cloud, digital, data, and AI-driven projects within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets. The Project Lead drives day-to-day project execution, Agile delivery, team coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of software, cloud, digital, data, and AI/GenAI projects while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget commitments
Manage multiple projects and priorities while effectively balancing resources, risks, and dependencies
Drive Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies and facilitate Agile ceremonies
Work closely with technical leads, product owners, and stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure timely delivery
Monitor project KPIs, sprint metrics, project financials, and provide regular status updates to management
Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, data engineers, and AI teams
Identify project risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and implement appropriate mitigation and recovery plans
Ensure compliance with organizational processes, quality standards, audits, and governance requirements
Manage customer communication, stakeholder expectations, escalations, and project reporting
Lead team onboarding, performance management, mentoring, and employee development activities
