NetApp is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the ActiveIQ organization in Bangalore, India. ActiveIQ is NetApp’s intelligent digital advisor platform that provides proactive insights, predictive analytics, and actionable recommendations to help customers optimize the health, performance, security, and efficiency of their NetApp environments.
The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional technical programs within the ActiveIQ organization. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, product management, architecture, operations, support, and other business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical program management, a sound understanding of software product development, and the ability to manage complex programs in a global, matrixed environment. This role requires strong execution discipline, stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to drive clarity and alignment across teams.
Job Requirements
4 - 5 years of experience in a Technical Program Manager role or equivalent technical program/project management position.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional software or technology programs.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, release planning, and engineering execution processes.
Ability to understand technical architecture, system dependencies, APIs, data platforms, cloud services, or enterprise software environments.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive alignment across engineering, product, and business teams.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present program status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
Experience using program and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive programs forward in a fast-paced environment.
Strong influencing skills and ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.

Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of technical programs within the ActiveIQ organization.
Partner with engineering, product management, architecture, UX, cloud operations, support, and other stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, risk registers, dependency maps, and status reports.
Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure clear ownership, accountability, and timely decision-making across participating teams.
Identify program risks, issues, and dependencies early, and drive mitigation and resolution plans.
Facilitate regular program reviews, execution meetings, and stakeholder updates.
Communicate program status, milestones, risks, and decisions clearly and effectively to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
Support delivery of capabilities related to cloud-connected services, telemetry-driven insights, analytics platforms, automation, and customer-facing digital experiences.
Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical designs, implementation plans, release timelines, and delivery challenges.
Ensure program deliverables meet expectations for quality, scalability, reliability, security, and customer experience.
Drive continuous improvement in program management processes, reporting mechanisms, tools, and execution practices.
Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is required.
