Technical Program Manager, Functional Safety software

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join NVIDIA’s Automotive Software team. You act as the cross-section between execution and strategy, driving impactful programs and delivering measurable results across many functions. We need passionate, hard-working, with a can-do attitude and creative people to help us take on more of these unique opportunities in Automotive solution space. This role will coordinate software safety planning, execution, release readiness, and audit support across engineering, safety, architecture, testing, assurance, product, and teams engaged with customers.
The ideal candidate possesses strong experience coordinating technical programs in software crafted for safety-critical systems. They should be familiar with standards like ISO 26262 and ISO 21434. They must also handle intricate dependencies spanning software architecture, requirements, verification, diagnostics, platform integration, and release accomplishments.
What you will be doing:
- Lead software programs committed to functional safety through planning, execution, validation, release, and audit readiness. Drive schedules, dependencies, and risks for safety-critical software components by working with multi-functional teams.
- Provide hands-on program management during analysis, build, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
- Your ability to use historical trends and generate important metrics will help NVIDIA succeed. Staying tuned to rapid changes in product development plans is also key.
- Identify program risks related to execution, dependency management, schedules, and resources and work with the teams to put the right mitigation plans into action.
- Drive closure of multi-functional issues across software, hardware, safety, validation, QA, release, and customer-facing teams.
- Maintain clear program dashboards, execution metrics, risk registers, and leadership status reporting.
- Suggest and drive processes improvements across the organization.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in technical program management for embedded, automotive software, firmware, or safety-critical product development.
