This is a hands-on senior IC role ideal for someone who has successfully built a program management function from the ground up within an established product company. You’ll play a strategic role in shaping operational excellence, team structure, and delivery processes to enable growth and innovation, while inspiring high performance by identifying root causes of delivery bottlenecks and empowering teams to overcome them. Key Responsibilities:: Build TPM Function from Scratch: Design and implement a high-performance Technical Program Management function tailored for a scaling SaaS organization. Strategic Program Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs with a focus on high impact and delivery excellence. Inspire High Performance: Diagnose delivery bottlenecks, uncover root causes, and enable individuals and teams to perform at their best. Ownership & Accountability: Act as a delivery owner — ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to prioritize and align on goals, deliverables, and resources. Process Definition & Optimization: Define scalable workflows, tools, and rituals (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.) to drive consistency and quality across the organization. Tooling & Reporting: Leverage program management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, LinearB, Aha!, etc. to establish visibility, drive transparency, and enable data-driven insights. Risk & Dependency Management: Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and proactively remove blockers to keep programs on track. Executive Communication: Regularly communicate program status, risks, and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications:: 4-10 years of experience in technical program management in SaaS or software product companies. Hands-on experience in building a program management function from scratch in an established product organization is required. Strong ability to lead with high ownership, drive execution excellence, and deliver programs that move the business forward. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and modern software development practices. Hands-on expertise with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and LinearB is required.
