We are looking for a skilled CrowdStrike Engineer to manage and optimise the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, including EDR, platform administration, SOAR automation using Fusion, and vulnerability / exposure management. The role involves endpoint security operations, detection and response, automation, reporting, and remediation coordination in an enterprise SOC environment.
Key Responsibilities:
CrowdStrike EDR Operations
Monitor and triage security alerts from CrowdStrike EDR, including malware, suspicious activity, lateral movement, and behavioural detections.
Perform endpoint-level investigation using process tree analysis, file hash review, user activity, command-line details, and related telemetry.
Execute approved response actions such as host isolation, indicator blocking, process termination, and escalation to L2/L3 teams.
Conduct threat hunting and support incident investigation using MITRE ATT&CK aligned analysis.
Coordinate with MDR / Falcon Complete teams
CrowdStrike Platform Administration:
Manage Falcon console administration including tenant hygiene, host groups, policies, sensor grouping logic, RBAC and role assignments.
Monitor endpoint and mobile sensor coverage, sensor health, policy compliance and operational gaps.
Validate platform integrations with Entra ID / Active Directory, ServiceNow, SIEM / NG-SIEM, and other agreed security tools.
Participate in the full incident lifecycle: detection, triage, investigation, response, documentation and closure.
Improve detection coverage, reduce false positives and support tuning of CrowdStrike rules / use cases.
Support audit requirements, compliance evidence and operational governance meetings.
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, dashboards, operational reports and service improvement actions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across security operations, infrastructure, application teams, ITSM and customer leadership.
Areas of responsibility Gathering of requirements-Participate in gathering requirements for specific modules and ensure clear, structured documentation. Work across multiple business processes to capture linkages, dependencies, and required changes.
Solution Design-Facilitate creation of application solution designs for a specific module under the guidance of the Project Manager, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
Coding and Configuration-"Review the developed codes, resolve technical queries of the team for the assigned module and create consistent replication patterns, to ensure that the developed code aligns with the project standards.Collaborate with project managers through all phases of software development life cycle."
Perform root-cause analysis to identify and troubleshoot recurring technical issues. Modify software codes to resolve errors, adapt to new hardware and software, enhance performance, and upgrade interfaces." Implementation-"Collaborate with technical teams to validate configurations, facilitate integration of new applications, and address dependencies during deployment. Prepare user training documents and related frameworks to ensure smooth adoption new applications and minimize transition risks."
