Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant for a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Tax Consultant will handle various tasks, including tax planning, GST filing, preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and assisting with tax audits. The role also involves staying updated on changes in tax regulations both direct and indirect taxation and providing strategic advice to optimize tax positions. Collaboration with clients and internal teams will be essential to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. Qualifications

• Expertise in both direct and indirect tax matters
• Expertise in Tax Planning and the ability to develop strategies for minimizing tax liabilities
• GST filing and compliance
• ROC compliance
• filing TDS
• Handling Income Tax litigation
• Handling GST litigation
• Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance and proficiency in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Experience in Tax Preparation and filing, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with Tax Audits and the ability to manage audit procedures effectively
• In-depth understanding of direct and Indirect Tax Laws and its application in various scenarios
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
• Prior experience in a consultancy or legal environment preferred
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
• CA or Intermediate will be given preference
• Those who worked in an audit firm will be given preference
