Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tax Associate role based in Ahmedabad. The Tax Associate will support the preparation and review of tax returns, schedules, and working papers for individuals and businesses across multiple US jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and organizing financial data, performing tax research, assisting with tax planning initiatives, and maintaining up-to-date documentation for audits and compliance reviews. The role involves collaborating with clients, coordinating with bookkeeping and finance teams, and responding to queries related to filings and compliance. Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, EA, Inter CA) are an advantage.
- Strong technical foundation in Tax, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations in practical scenarios.
- Hands-on experience or academic exposure to tax preparation and tax compliance for individuals and business entities.
- Solid grasp of Finance fundamentals, including financial statements, accounting concepts, and basic analytics.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and tax or accounting software; comfort working with data and documentation in a structured manner.
- Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with openness to learning and working in a structured, process-driven setting.
