The role involves working with cross-functional teams on system design, requirement definition, prototype development, integration, testing, and documentation. Role & Responsibilities:
- Support system design for new proof of concept/prototype
- Assist in translating user needs into high-level system requirements
- Contribute to prototype development, integration, and testing activities
- Create and maintain design documentation, block diagrams, interface definitions, and use cases
- Participate in design discussions, feasibility analysis, and technical reviews
- Help identify technical risks, assumptions, and design trade-offs
- Strong documentation skills — ability to produce structured test reports, experiment logs, and result summaries
- Document results, learnings, and recommendations from prototype evaluations
Qualifications/Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Systems, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.
- No active backlogs at the time of application.
- Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.
- Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.
- Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, Python, or MATLAB for experiment logging, data analysis, and plotting
