Amazon Books Team is looking for a talented support engineer who is customer focussed and has strong expertise to build enterprise scale analytics datamarts. In this role, you will deliver world class data infrastructure for global books, print and digital. As a Support Engineer working on the analytics platform, you will be implementing and supporting the analytic technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data. You will be challenged with a variety of task like SQL Code, data pipeline design and implementation. You will interact with customers to gather requirements and structure solutions.Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and gaining a deep-dive understanding of services and key datasets.Tuning application and query performance against large, complex data structures. ### Basic qualifications - 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience - Experience scripting in modern program languages - Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems ### Preferred qualifications - Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development - Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID - Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
